J4 For example, the movement of the hand generates, by necessity, the movement of the ring, and the movement of the hand in water generates the movement of the water. These occurrences are observed and reason also bears them out. If the movements of the hand and ring are created by God, it would be conceivable that He may create the movement of the band without the movement of the water, and that is absurd. The absurdity of this position holds true of all generated things with all of their ramifications.
